Helloooo! It was a long break and i wanted to comeback with a post on ‘from my life’ part. Hope you are all doing good.
Eventhough i couldn’t find time to share blogs in recent months, having viewers to website almost everyday made me so happy. So before starting i want to thank you^^
Here is today’s element, tea from Taiwan 👇
First of all, i will mention how i got this tea. There is a real nice friend who is also my classmate. She travelled to Taiwan few years ago and came back with some stuff from there. Because she knows my interest to Asian cultures and my language learning journey of Mandarin, she gifted it to me. Beyond being thankful to everyone on this page, i want to share my thankfulness to her specifically. ❤️
I know there is a tea culture in Asia and brewing is really important, it is like a ritual. But since i don’t have these special pots in my home, i used french press (don’t take it as disrespect to tea culture please )🤗
I followed instructions given on the pack. I tried to figure out the instructions about half hour since they are in Chinese but we all know that my language level is still not that much good lol. Then i removed outer pack and saw there are instructions in English too (Why did you hide them inside, i was almost giving up? kkkk)
Taste? How was it? 😋
It was unusual for me, i am used to get fruity tastes or light smells from teas (not meaning ordinary Turkish tea, it is whole another level). This tea also doesn’t have strong taste, easy to get used. But smell was a bit stronger comparing to it’s taste and the ones i am used to drink. It was a bit different for me but not like something impossible to drink, just seems like it will take a few more try to get used.
When i shared photo of package, some friends from Taiwan and China found it funny because of it’s name. I am still not sure about what exactly says on it. Please share it with me if you know Chinese 🥺
This is not end of tea posts hehe. I also have PuErh tea which is really famous in China. Next tea post will be about it. Stay tuned, don’t go anywhere, PuErh tes post will be here for you :))
