Merhaba!
Welcome to first blog of language category,
I wanted to start with “merhaba” because it means “Hello”. New category of website greets you all^^

So, let’s be back to the topic, the question is “Can merhaba be used for both 你好 and 大家好?”
The answer is ”Yes”
Merhaba can be used to greet either single person or many people
Now, you might have another question in your mind “So what does ‘merhabalar’ stand for? Is there any problem to use it in plural form?” *
The answer is “No”.
You can use plural form which is Merhabalar to greet people too but you don’t have to. There is no such a rule about using Merhaba or Merhabalar according to number of people you are communicating with.
Only difference might be that “merhabalar” is a bit more polite in some situations but single form (Merhaba) isn’t a rude expression too. Just merhabalar is a bit more polite.
Yeah, it was short blog but i hope it was helpful.
See you next time.
